I've been a bit of a slacker at updating pictures. I knew I could just throw things in, but wanted to make sure I didn't leave anything out.

For Memorial Day weekend, the family went camping up at Rocky Point on Whidbey Island. It was so windy, but the sun came out a little bit to shine on the silver slabs of drift wood and reveal some of the southern San Juan Islands to the north.

The spring and summer time is parade season, so the Kamiak Show Band (which I was a member of 10+ years ago) marched through the neighborhoods close to the high schohol to practice for their events. I believe at this time, they were headed to Victoria, Canada for Victoria Day.

It was Bunco night at Jenn and Max's and we got to meet Jenn's little Hedgehog Nestle. She is so cute!

In the process of saving money for the Husky Band, we broke our backs to lay the port-o-floor for the Toast to the Northwest wine tasting fundraising event in the Dempsey Indoor. It is usually the gymnastics team that lays it in a few short hours, but us amateurs...it took us quite a while. I think we all agreed we wouldn't do that again!
