Back in Copenhagen. Posing with H.C. Andersen.

Lunch at the Hemmingsen's new summer house. Andreas, Paul, Kami, Josefine, and Anna Sofie.

Old food coloring paint packages, which were made by Kromann's fabrik...actually a relative of Bodil's, but not a relative of mine.

Bodil's newly painted house!

Annelise, Carley and Paul posing in front of "Bedstemors Hus" as we had 18 years earlier.

The house where my grandfather was born.

Chad and Carley at the old mine. The site where my grandparents met in the late 1920's.

Back on Fan. We had lunch at the old Snderho Kro with Dad's cousin Bodil.

My pretty Lego sculpture with colors I picked out myself from the Brick Shop!

Giant ducks in Leavenworth...I mean Bavaria.

This is the Kancilehuset where Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary live. It's right in front of Fredensborg. They have a swimming pool! :)

The miniland model of Fredensborg Castle. This is where President Bush stayed while in Denmark. Actually, many famous guests have stayed here including Bill Clinton and Winston Churchill. The Royal Wedding reception was also held here...of course, in the original, much larger version!

Chad and Carley outside the entrance to Legoland.

On Monday, July 11th, Carley, Chad and I made the trek to the home and founding city of LEGOs in Billund, Denmark!!

Paul and ice cream!

A day in Snderho isn't complete without a visit to the local ice cream shop.

Musicians playing Fan music at the Sunday market in Snderho.

The house from the rear.

A Snderho sunset along the dunes close to the house.

The view out the kitchen window.

A view of one of the bathrooms...the sauna is to the left past the shower.

A view out the living room windows.

The living room in the summer house.

Aunt Kisser working in the new kitchen.

At the family's new summer house on Fan. We were happy to colapse on the couch. L to R: Kami, Paul, Seana, Andy and Carley.

As the band was getting ready to fly to Seattle, we hopped the train to Esbjerg to start our trek to Fan. Chad was very excited about riding the train for the first time!

And Friday morning we watched to see the buses leave for the airport. I think everyone had a great time! Go Dawgs!

Brad with our guides and our fantastic bus drivers!

Carley and Annelise at the dinner.

Where our going away dinner was in Christianshavn.

It's hard to see anyone, but this is the group picture on our last night in Copenhagen.

Enthusiastic beer tasters.

The new tasting room in the Jacobsen's bar at the Carlsberg brewery.

The lovely colors of the new Jacobsen beers.

Annelise and Carley tasting our beers at the Carlsberg brewery.

I was thinking of the Husky Drummers when I took this.
