A little catching up...Carley & Chad's graduation in June

Back in June, we drove 300 miles east to Cheney, Washington. Carley and Chad were finally getting their bachelors degree from Eastern Washington University. Along the way, the sites of eastern Washington's landscapes reveal the true beauty of America...
A pituresque barn surrounded by the rolling hills of Ellensberg.

An old gas station in Ellensberg converted to a delicious burger joint.

Chief Sitting Bull? Is that who he is? Popping up among the weeds in Ellensberg.

A very tanned David wearing a "loin cloth" outside of Spokane on the side of I-90.

Let me tell you a story about a big bull...and a turtle.

A rusty mailbox along Interstate 90.

Presenting America's colors, the state flag and the flag of Eastern WA U at the graduation ceremony.
Dad looking for Carley among the many graduates.

Chad & Carley with their diploma covers...the real diploma comes in the mail.

An EWU water tower.

Some farm equipment abandoned in the fields of eastern Washington.

The upper class student housing primarily found in the areas of Pullman in eastern Washington.
