My family is building a summer house on Denmark's west coast on the island of Fanø. The land used to be owned by my great grandmother who used it for grazing her sheep. Today, it is prime property for summer houses. This is the view looking south west. The dunes behind the beginnings of a foundation are protected, which means no one can build there. And then right on the other side of the dunes is the North Sea! Isn't that great?! The whole American Kromann family will be here this summer to break the house in! :)
